Obama’s inauguration: the human swarms

During Obama’s inauguration, the satellites of GeoEye took the picture below showing the Capitole in Washington. If you click on it, you will discover the high definition version of the picture where you will see huge groups of human beings aggregated around big TV screens. It really looks like insect swarms around patches of food.
